Grace DeSio , LMSW

Grace earned her undergraduate degree in psychology from Drake University. She went on to earn her master's degree in social work from the University of Iowa. She has worked with people from diverse socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. She values getting to know each client's unique experiences to collaborate on developing client-driven treatment goals that build upon strengths.

Grace sees children (3+), adolescents, and families. She enjoys using various forms of play therapy techniques and creative expressive work to provide clients with opportunities for expression and healing. She uses several different treatment approaches, taking into account each person's or family's specific needs. Grace sees clients at the office a couple of days a week and at Waukee Middle School a couple of days a week.
