Janice Bates, BS

Janice has a Bachelor of Science Degree and two Minors in Psychology and Sociology from Upper Iowa University in Human Services. Janice has over twenty-one years of experience working with children and adults in various capacities, including Behavioral Health and Intervention Services, Supported Community Living Technician, Family Safety Risk and Permanency Worker, Nanny, and Associate for Des Moines Public Schools. Janice specializes working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, ADHD, and Anxiety. Janice has the ability to positively motivate youth to achieve the highest possible outlook on life, identify when an individual's behavior is escalating, and intervene before a crisis becomes dangerous.

Janice is family oriented and enjoys spending all of her free time with husband of fourteen years, two granddaughters, and mom. Janice enjoys traveling the US as much as possible, eating at new restaurants, going to the movie theater, and volunteering at animal shelters.
